What you should do?
- Do not mix raw food (meat, poultry, seafood) from ready-to-eat food or other foods consumed raw such as salad or cut fruits.
- Do not mix raw meat, fish and raw vegetables.
- Store food in appropriate covered containers to avoid contact between raw and ready to eat foods.
- Use separate equipment and utensils such as knives, cutting board for different food.

- Grey/White – Bakery and diary product
- Red – Raw meat
- Green – Fruit & Vegetables
- Blue – Fish & Seafood
- Brown- Cooked food
- Yellow- Raw chicken and poultry
Why do it?
Raw food, especially meat, poultry and seafood, and their juices may contain dangerous micro-organisms which may be transferred onto other foods during food preparation and storage.
